IMPORTANT NOTE: This cancelation applies to primary Foo Foo Fest grant-funded events only. A number of events are added each year, and placed under our marketing umbrella as “Friends of Foo.” However, whether these events occur or not, is not under the purview of the Foo Foo Festival or Art, Culture, and Entertainment, Inc. Please check the websites and/or social media pages of your favorite Friends of Foo for updates on the status of their individual events moving forward.
The nonprofit organization, Art, Culture, and Entertainment, Inc. (ACE), announced on April 2, 2020, that the 7th Annual Foo Foo Festival slated for November 5-16, 2020 has been canceled due to the global novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The Foo Foo Festival will resume November 4-15, 2021 in Pensacola, Fla.
“Our board voted unanimously to suspend Foo Foo Festival this year in light of the pandemic,” said David Bear, trustee emeritus for Art, Culture, and Entertainment, Inc. “The timing for committing financially for 2020 is now and we felt it would be irresponsible to begin our process during this uncertain and precarious time. We look forward to getting back to business as usual next year.”

The Foo Foo Festival celebrates art, music, dance, theatre, cuisine and more with programming from grant recipients, throughout the city of Pensacola for nearly two weeks. Strategically positioned in and around some of Pensacola’s most popular events, the Foo Foo Fest encourages cultural tourists to make Pensacola an arts destination those two weeks. Foo Foo Festival’s impressive roster of events has become highly anticipated for its outstanding grant recipients who celebrate individual experiences specific to their craft and in 2019, the festival gave a total of $400,000 in grant funding to artists.

Zarzaur Law, P.A., a personal injury law firm based in Pensacola, Florida, presents a special event that will be a Foo Foo Fest edition of its well known “Legal Graffiti” event.
This three-day live painting event will attract locals and visitors that are in the Downtown Pensacola area for the Foo Foo Fest activities happening during the first two weeks in November. Visitors can watch three artists work on large canvases using a variety of paint, including spray paint, just like the traditional “Legal Graffiti” fundraiser events hosted by Zarzaur Law, P.A. during the monthly Gallery Nights.
The artists will paint on a 6ft x 6ft vinyl canvas at the corner of Palafox and Romana Streets right outside of the Zarzaur Law building in Downtown Pensacola. Each of the three artists, Jaime Shevant, Gabe Pellerin and Patrick Quintanilla, who were chosen through a submission process, will create one original piece using a variety of paint mediums and techniques.
“Being a part of this event brings me excitement to see where the Art scene and Pensacola community as a whole will go. Being able to expose the community to artists performing their passion may encourage others to take similar steps,” said artist Gabe Pellerin.
Zarzaur Law’s “Legal Graffiti” Foo Foo Fest Style will take place Friday Nov. 8 and conclude on Sunday, Nov. 10 in Downtown Pensacola on the closing weekend of Foo Foo Fest. The completed paintings will be auctioned off as a fundraiser for Gulf Coast Kid’s House.
“We are so thankful to be a member of such a thriving downtown community,” said Joe Zarzaur, Zarzaur Law, P.A.
