Art-A-Thon: Long Hollow Park Fountain Dedication

Experience art in its purest form. Join us for a 24-hour Art-A-Thon in efforts to beautify and revitalize this park space and showcase the artwork of the talented individuals at the First City Art Center.

There will be live glass-blowing demonstrations, ceramic raku firings, dozens of artists figure drawing en plein air, yoga, fire-dancing and aerial silks.

You will also witness the unveiling of the beautiful new park fountain and benches at this all-day event in collaboration with Foo Foo Fest.


11/6: Monday
9am – 3pm: Join us for a Community Mural Painting! Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Area materials provided – school groups attending

3pm – 6pm: Watch PSC students give Glass blowing demonstrations Make Your Own Glass Ornaments (only $20, save $10!) Community Mural Painting – materials provided

5:00 p.m.: PechaKucha (Artist Talks) led by Felipe Munoz 6pm – 9pm: Fountain Unveiling Celebration! Food trucks, live music Community Mural Painting – materials provided Throwing on the potter’s wheel (Call office to Sign up) Figure Drawing Session – $10. walk-ins welcome! Yoga students will be clothed models for Drawing students!

6:15 – 7:30 p.m. Yin Yoga – $10. Drop-in (cash/check)

7:45 – 9:00 p.m. Restorative Yoga – $10. Drop-in (cash/check)

9:00 p.m. – MIDNIGHT: Ceramic Raku Firings and glassblowing demos. A variety of Food Trucks and music by DJ3X. Make Your Own Glass Ornaments (only $20, save $10!)

11/7: Tuesday
MIDNIGHT – 3:00am: Drag Fashion Show and LipSync Performance Dance Party after the show with DJ3X 2 Late night Food Trucks on site until 3am!

3:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.: Watch Art21 Artist Interviews/Documentaries Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Area

6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.:
6:30 – 7:30 a.m.: Sunrise Meditation in labyrinth
7:45 – 8:45 a.m.: Morning Yoga in the labyrinth
8:45am – 9:00 a.m. Closing Ceremony
