Ballet Pensacola: The Art of Dance on the Gulf Coast

Date Posted: Oct 19, 2015

PENSACOLA, Fla., October 19, 2015 – Since 1992, Ballet Pensacola has entertained the Pensacola community with their creativity and style in the art of dance.

The Company is composed of full-time professional ballet dancers as well as local youth dancers. The dancers enjoy being involved in the community by teaching classes for local student dancers and by performing shows for over 13,000 school students a year.

The Ballet Pensacola Company provides young dancers with opportunities to learn and develop their skills and techniques as well as become more involved with the Company’s outreach programs.

Artistic Director Richard Steinert has led the Company since 2007 and continuously works to develop several performances a year, including favorites like the “Nutcracker.” Unique to Ballet Pensacola, Steinart enjoys fusing dance and theatre aspects to create an even more entertaining performance.

Don’t miss your chance to catch one of Ballet Pensacola’s exciting performances at this year’s Foo Foo Festival. They will be performing an extended version of “The Headless Horseman Ballet” on Nov. 6 and 7 at the Pensacola Cultural Center. Click here for more information.
